Time to do something about the dangerous dog attacks in Marlow?
Julie's son was out walking Florence along the Thames towpath when the dog was attacked by what looked like a sandy-coloured Staffordshire Terrier cross. Florence was lucky to escape with bite wounds and bruising.
This is not the first incident that has been reported recently. Marlow Partents - the very popular yahoo group - has had similar attacks reported. In most cases the owner on the offending dog has left the scene without taking any responsibility.
In one particular case, an owner was faced with a £3000 vet bill after her dog's leg was broken during an attack.
Police have apealed for witnesses to come forward so that something can be done about this worrying spate of attacks.
