The school holidays are finally here and soon many families in and around Marlow will be packing their suitcases and jetting off for a sunny summer holiday. And with the weather we've been having lately, who can blame them?

Thomas Cook on the High Street is a good place to find a last-minute deal if you haven't booked your break yet - they have a good selection of brochures in stock and super-friendly staff that can't do enough for you.
And once you've got a particular destination in mind a visit to a good travel review site, such as Trip Advisor, World Travel Guide orTravelMail will give you the lowdown on your hotel or resort, so you have some idea of what might be in store when you touch down.
While some of us have already booked our trip abroad, many people will be staying closer to home this summer. In fact, latest figures suggest that the number of people choosing to holiday in the UK this year has risen by 15 per cent.
Edinburgh, the most visited city outside London, is seeing the greatest number of 'staycationers' with an extra 133,000 visitors, many of whom are British.
If planning to holiday at home in Marlow this year, doubtless you will already know about many of the places to stay and visit in and around our beautiful little corner of Buckinghamshire.

We're definietly taking the 'staycation' route this summer! Although there are some good foreign holiday deals about, you need so much spending money in Europe at the moment.
