UPDATE: Man hit by a train near Marlow Station

A man was hit by a train and fatally wounded near Marlow railway station on 11th January.

The local man, who has been named as 77 year-old William Taylor,  was pronounced dead at the scene near the Mill Lane Crossing. The death is not being treated as suspicious.

The train line was temporarily closed between Marlow and Maidenhead but is now running as normal.

    It's such a sad story. According to the Advertiser website yesterday the man was local and has been named as William Taylor. The crossing between Gossmore Lane and Fieldhouse Lane. null
