August 2011: Firefighters survey the damage at Marlow Rowing Club.
Since that fateful day in August, the club and its many friends and supporters have managed to riase an impressive £150,000 towards the reburbishment of the Rowing Club - one of Marlow's most recognised and much-loved landmarks.
The club's insurer paid out £400,000 but it's thought that a further £1million will be needed to restore the club.
The club's Vice-President and Marlow's most famous sportsman, Sir Steve Redgrave, has been supporting the cause and the club are confident that the new build will eventually go ahead.
'We've been here for 100 years and want to be here in another 100 years', said Club Chairman, Pete Hunt.
