The Council has agreed to build a residential care home in Marlow. The three story home is is planned to be built on the Litte Marlow Road just off the roundabout junction with the A4155.

The property will feature 62 care rooms, 16 suites for specialist dementia care, parking and garden landscaping.

Councillor Hugh McCarthy said "It was an application that wasn't quite right previously, but we now have a result that is acceptable." "I feel comfortable with this, it meets a need and as long as the appearance of the building can be designed and reproduced appropriately, it can enhance the area".

Councillor Katrina Wood added: " I think it will be a beautiful site, it looks to be a great scheme and I am fully in support of it".
