Have you discovered Marlow's Runners' Retreat yet?

If you are one of the hundreds of local people who go out running regularly, you will no doubt have already noticed the latest addition to Marlow's extensive range of shops.

Marlow runners now have a specialist shop on the doorstep.

The brand new running shop, Runners' Retreat opened on West Street at the weekend in the prescence of Marlow Mayor, Jocelyn Towns and Great Britain International and Olympic long distance runner, Phil Wicks.

The specialist running shop will be managed by Brian Bower and Matt Whiting who could previously be seen behind the counter at Apex Sports - another running shop in Farnham Common.

Matt Whiting has helped many a Marlow runner find the right equipment - especially trainers - so there's little doubt that local enthusiasts will be thrilled at not having to make the journey out of town to stock up on essential kit!

I have for a number of years sent my patients to see Matt at his previous shop in Farnham Common, the advice he gave to them on running shoes has always been spot on. It's great to have this resource in Marlow. Keep up the good work.
