Did anyone else visit the fayre in Higginson Park at the weekend? My children saw it being set up, so i promised them a couple of rides each on Saturday. Apart from the cost of the rides - £2 each on most of them! I was pretty shocked buy the scruffy state of the rides themselves.

In particular was the swing ride. I was about to put my four year-old on to one of the chairs, when I noticed the bottom was rotting away. It was frightening - it looked to me like it could break at any minute. This fayre seems like an accident waiting to happen and I will definitely be steering well clear next time they come to Marlow.
