A few dark clouds and a couple of rain showers didn't keep people away from the Marlow Carnival this weekend.  Once again.hunfdreds of people flocked to Higginson Park to enjoy a fun-packed family day out that's been taking place for thirty years.

There were plenty of attractions to keep the crowds occupied throughout the day, from Cressex-based dance troupe, Breaking Pointe, a martial arts demonstration, as well as of stalls - many of them set up by local charities.

The carnival was organised by the Marlow Community Association who also hope to raise extra cash for the upkeep of Liston Hall.

Marlow FM covered the event from their live stage and malow Mayor, Cllr Jocelyn Towns spent the day walking amongst the crowds of local people.

'It was really lovely', she told the Bucks Free Press. ' A lovely atmosphere and a nice mix of attractions.'

We agree!  Well dome to the Marlow Community Association and all the people who worked so hard to make this such a great local event.
