    Jon's friends and colleagues have helped to raise over £8000.
    Over 300 people attended the funeral of Marlow man, Jon Hudson who tragicaly lost his battle with cancer, aged only 36.  The service was held at St Albans, where his dad is a verger at the Catherdral and Abbey.     A serious fire broke out at a house in North Close, Medmenham this afternoon.     Local Marlow police officer, Inspector John McDonald has been commended, after risking his life to prevent a serious explosion. John Mcdonald led the negotiations with intoxicated 37 year-old, Darren Mace who had filled his flat with gas and was threatening to ignite the fumes using a blow torch.     Haringtons: still mindful of customer care despite their recent disaster.
    Following the fire that ripped through Haringtons hairdressers on January 4th, staff are bravely endeavouring to carry on as usual. The extent to which the interior of the building was damaged by flames and smoke means that the Marlow salon is unlikely re-open its doors until early February.
